Backgrounds

Backgrounds fill the space behind a block's content.

• Colour or gradient, including a global colour from your palette.
• Image, with size, position, repeat, and a focal point.
• Video, for a moving background.
• Overlay, a colour or gradient laid over an image to keep text readable.

You can also blend, filter, and clip the background for effect. Each setting works per breakpoint and per state, so a background can change on hover.
