The welcome flow

The Getting Started wizard that opens when you activate Slowly, and how to skip it.

Activating Slowly opens the Getting Started screen. It is a short wizard you can click through or leave at any point with Return to dashboard, and you can reopen it later from the Slowly menu under Getting Started. Nothing in it is required.

The steps:

  1. Getting started. Choose whether you are new to this or already comfortable. The first path adds a short guided tour at the end, the second skips it.
  2. Install theme. Pick and activate a block theme. The Slowly theme installs here if you choose it, or you can stay on the theme you already have or pick any other.
  3. Settings. Set the basics, a site icon, title, and tagline, plus a few display options.
  4. Beginner guide. Only on the new-to-this path, a quick tour of WordPress, the Themer, the Site Editor, and Settings.
  5. Ready. A finish screen with links to keep going.

None of this locks anything in. Skip the whole thing and everything it offers is reachable later from the Slowly menu.
